Bengaluru, Jan. 26: The 77th Republic Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Sri Yogish Poovaiah, a former Havildar and Commando Instructor in the Indian Army, was the chief guest for the program. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed with a guest salute led by the Ghosh team. Then the chief guest hoisted the flag. As part of the program, a parade, various cultural programs, a karate show and various stunts by the students were displayed. On this occasion, prizes and awards were presented to students who achieved at the national level in various sports disciplines. In his speech, the chief guest Sri Yogish Poovaiah said that it is a matter of happiness that the institution is preparing students needed by the nation. He also shared with the students the exciting and inspiring experiences of his career in the army, emphasizing the importance of discipline, patriotism, and loyalty, saying that we should be capable enough to protect our own lives.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 77ನೇ ಗಣರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಹವಿಲ್ದಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಮಾಂಡೋ ಬೋಧಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಯೋಗೀಶ್ ಪೂವಯ್ಯರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಘೋಷ್ ತಂಡದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅತಿಥಿ ಪ್ರಣಾಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನ, ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಕರಾಟೆಯ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಹಸ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಯೋಗೀಶ್ ಪೂವಯ್ಯರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ತಯಾರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೋಷದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದ ರೋಮಾಂಚನಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯನಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
