Bengaluru, Dec. 12: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari organized a National Festival themed “Shivoham” for classes 2 to 5.
Padmasri awardee and former director of NIMHANS Dr. B. N. Gangadhar and renowned music composer and Grammy awardee Sri Rikhi Kazz were the chief guests. Samarth Bharatiya Trustee Sri Rajesh Padmar in his speech highlighted the significance of completing 60 years of Rashtrotthana Parishat and 100 years of RSS. He called this year very special. He emphasized on education rooted in religion, culture, society and nation for building a strong nation.
Sri Rikhi Kazz, through his speech, spoke about how every citizen can contribute to the nation through honest work and service to the society.
The speakers emphasized the role of schools in nurturing creativity, leadership and strong values in students. Parents were guided to instil positivity, good habits and constructive thinking in their children. The cultural segment was a highlight of the program with dance performances by students beautifully depicting the essence of the theme of Shivoham. The program concluded with the divine Ganga Aarti.

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ನ ಮಾಜಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಎನ್. ಗಂಗಾಧರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರ್ಯಾಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಖಿ ಖೇಜ್ ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಮರ್ಥ ಭಾರತಿಯ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಪದ್ಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ 60 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ನ 100 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು. ಬಲವಾದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧರ್ಮ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಮಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ರಿಕಿ ಕೇಜ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಕೆಲಸ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲವಾದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕತೆ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಲು ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಶಿವೋಹಂ ವಿಷಯದ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸುವಂತಿತ್ತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ದೈವಿಕ ಗಂಗಾ ಆರತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
