Bengaluru, Mar. 13: A Sankalp Divas program was organised for the students of classes 10 and 12 at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. The Vice Chancellor of Bengaluru University, Prof. Dr Jayakar Shetty M, was the chief guest for the program. The school correspondent, Sri Vasanth Kumar, gave an inspiring introductory speech and impressed upon the students the importance of patriotism and value-based living. The students, who were dressed in traditional attire, took the Sankalp Vachana with lamps in their hands and took the pledge to become responsible citizens. Each student was blessed by giving mementos in the presence of their parents. In his message, the Chief Guest emphasised the importance of national responsibility and appreciated the unique idea of Sankalp Divas of Rashtrotthana. The parents and students shared their heartfelt feelings. Everyone stood up and honoured the teachers’ continuous hard work.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾ. 13: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 10 ಮತ್ತು 12 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ದಿವಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಡಾ. ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಎಂ. ಅವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಆದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ಭಾಷಣ ನೀಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಬದುಕಿನ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮನದಟ್ಟುಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಪಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪ ಹಿಡಿದು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಾಗರಿಕರಾಗುವ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡರು. ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನದ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ದಿವಸದ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯಪೂರ್ಣ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನಿರಂತರ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
