Bengaluru, May 28: Veer Savarkar’s Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
• Students elaborated on the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, his participation in the freedom struggle and the establishment of an organisation called Swatantra Bharat Samaj in London. He was sentenced to 50 years in the Andaman Jail and described him as a great spirit who fought for the country without fear.

• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿನಾಯಕ ದಾಮೋದರ್ ಸಾವರ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ, ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲಂಡನ್ನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಭಾರತ ಸಮಾಜ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂಡಮಾನ್ ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ 50 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಧೃತಿಗೆಡದೆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಚೇತನ ಎಂದು ಸವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
