Bengaluru, July 16: Colours Day was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
• The children of Gokulam division wore the colours prescribed according to their respective classes. To further enhance the excitement of this special day, the activity room was decorated with various attractive corners. While the huge flowers at the entrance warmly welcomed everyone, the diverse floral decorations inside attracted everyone’s attention.
• The children were simply introduced to the deity worshipped on each day of the week and the significance of the colours associated with that deity. Then, the children were shown the transformation of colours through a small science experiment.
• Various creative activities were organised according to the age group. While the Pre-KG children participated in the activity of making fingerprints on a kite, the LKG children did sponge printing on a butterfly. UKG children pasted coloured paper and created mosaic art.
• Later, the children in the square stood in the sequence of rainbow colours and waved their hands. The colourful papers flew in the air, adding to the beauty of the programme. On this occasion, the flash mob (sudden group dance) performance given by the children dressed in different colours was the main attraction of the program. The rhythmic dance, lively steps and charming performance of the children dressed in different colours were appreciated by everyone present. This beautiful dance performance further increased the excitement of the program and remained an unforgettable memory in everyone’s mind.
• In addition, the specially prepared Sea & Sky corner attracted the children. The children were delighted to see the rainbow, stars and moon decorations there.
• To commemorate the day, Pre-KG children were given Sun with Rainbow, LKG children were given Clouds with Rainbow, and UKG children were given Palm Print Pop-up Cards.

• ಗೋಕುಲಂ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ತರಗತಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಣ್ಣದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವಿಶೇಷ ದಿನದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಕಾರ್ನರ್ಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಹೂವುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರೆ, ಒಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಹೂವಿನ ಅಲಂಕಾರಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದವು.
• ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ದಿನ ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಯೋಗದ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
• ವಯೋಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರೀ-ಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಾಳಿಪಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆರಳಚ್ಚು (Finger Printing) ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಚಿಟ್ಟೆಯ ಆಕೃತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಪಾಂಜ್ ಪ್ರಿಂಟಿಂಗ್ (Sponge Printing) ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯುಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಾಗದಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಸಿ ಮೊಸಾಯಿಕ್ (Mosaic) ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದರು.
• ನಂತರ ಚೌಕಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಅನುಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೈಬೀಸಿದ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮನಮೋಹಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಣ್ಣಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಾಗದಗಳು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದವು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಉಡುಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೀಡಿದ ಫ್ಲ್ಯಾಶ್ ಮೊಬ್ (ಹಠಾತ್ ಸಮೂಹ ನೃತ್ಯ) ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿವಿಧ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳ ಉಡುಪುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲಯಬದ್ಧ ನೃತ್ಯ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮನಮೋಹಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸುಂದರ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚಳಿಯದ ನೆನಪಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಿತು.
• ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಿ-ಫೀ (Sea & Sky) ಕಾರ್ನರ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಂದ್ರನ ಅಲಂಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸಂತಸಪಟ್ಟರು.
• ದಿನದ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀ-ಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ Sun with Rainbow, ಎಲ್ಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ Clouds with Rainbow, ಹಾಗೂ ಯುಕೆಜಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ Palm Print Pop-up Cards ಅನ್ನು ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
