Bengaluru, Aug. 17: The Nagar Panchami festival was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students explained the importance of the festival of Nagar Panchami and said that Nagar Panchami is a holy festival of Hindus. This festival is celebrated on the Panchami of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravan. On the day of the festival, the Naga Devata is worshipped. Milk, butter and silver ornaments are offered to the Huttas. On this festival, brothers and sisters celebrate Nagar Panchami with great enthusiasm.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 17: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರ ಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತ, ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪಂಚಮಿಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನದಂದು ನಾಗದೇವತೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹುತ್ತಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಲು, ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಆಭರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಬ್ಬದಂದು ಅಣ್ಣ ತಂಗಿಯರು ಸೇರಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ನಾಗರಪಂಚಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಣೀಯ ನೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
