Bengaluru, Aug. 29: Kreedotsava 2026-27 was organised at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari for students of classes 3 to 5.
- Sri Vedant, a former student and national-level table tennis player, was the chief guest of the program.
- A karate performance was held by students of classes 3, 4 and 5.
- A dance performance was performed by students of class 3.
- The Chief Guest, in his speech, said that sports teach you victory and defeat. This lesson is not limited to the playground. It is also applicable to the entire life. Defeat teaches us the best lesson in life, saying that Rashtrotthana School is the only one that gives equal importance to sports through five-faceted education. Speaking to the parents, he said that they should encourage the students to engage in any co-curricular activity along with the curriculum.
- The Principal, Smt. Nanda, read out the pledge of the sports festival and asked the students to repeat it.
- The Chief Guest gave a powerful start to the program by throwing the shot put.
- The students participated in a 200-meter and 50-meter race and several other sports in large numbers.
- Parents came and encouraged them.
- Then, Smt. Nanda, Smt. Sandhya, and Smt. Kalavathi distributed prizes to the students who won in the sports.
- Abhayavahini secured the first position with 958 marks, while Ajayavahini secured the second position with 838 marks.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಆ. 29: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವ 2026–27 ಅನ್ನು 3 ರಿಂದ 5 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ಶಾಲಾ ಮಾಜಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಶ್ರೀ ವೇದಾಂತ್, ಟೇಬಲ್ ಟೆನಿಸ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಆಟಗಾರರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಮೂರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಹಾಗು ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕರಾಟೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವು ನಡೆಯಿತು.
- ಮೂರನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೆಲುವು ಹಾಗೂ ಸೋಲನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಪಾಠ ಕೇವಲ ಆಟದ ಮೈದಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೀಮಿತವಲ್ಲ. ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೂ ಸಹ ಇದು ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸೋಲು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾದ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಶಾಲೆಯೊಂದೇ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೂ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ನೆನಪನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ಸಹಪಠ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
- ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಂದಾ ಅವರು ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಓದಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಪುನರುಚ್ಚರಿಸುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
- ಭಾರದಗುಂಡು (ಶಾರ್ಟ್ ಪುಟ್) ಅನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ವಿದ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ 200 ಮೀಟರ್ 50 ಮೀಟರ್ ಓಟದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವಾರು ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಿದ್ದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ಪೋಷಕರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಂದಾ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ, ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಲಾವತಿ ಅವರುಗಳು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಅಭಯವಾಹಿನಿ 958 ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಜಯವಾಹಿನಿ 838 ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ತನ್ನದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
