Bengaluru, Sept. 15–17: Ganesha Chaturthi was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
- The installation of Lord Ganesha was performed according to traditional rituals; under the guidance of the priest, the school correspondent, Sri Vasanth Kumar, and the Principal, Smt. Nanda, conducted the worship ceremonies.
- The priest and the Head of the Sanskrit Department, Sri Vinod, officiated the rituals.
- Devotional songs (Bhajans) dedicated to Lord Ganesha were sung.
- Subsequently, students spoke about the significance of the Ganesha festival and the associated rituals.
- Over the course of these three days, Naivedya (ritual food offerings) was presented, and worship ceremonies were conducted for Gauri and Ganesha. Students selected from various classes entertained the gathering with songs and dances. Prasada was distributed to all the children.
- On Thursday, September 17, during the morning assembly, prayers were offered to Lord Ganesha, and a procession featuring the idols of Gauri and Ganesha was taken through all the floors of the school building. Students and teachers chanted slogans, offered flowers, and danced during the procession.
- Finally, the idol of Lord Ganesha was immersed in water following the prescribed rituals.

- ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೋಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪುರೋಹಿತರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಂದ ಅವರು ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಪುರೋಹಿತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿನೋದ್ ಅವರು ಪೂಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.
- ಗಣೇಶನ ಭಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
- ನಂತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗಣೇಶ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
- ಈ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಗೌರಿ ಗಣೇಶನಿಗೆ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಪೂಜಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿವಿಧ ತರಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಡು ನೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
- ದಿನಾಂಕ 17/9/26 ಗುರುವಾರ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣೇಶನಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಗೌರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣೇಶನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಜಯಘೋಷ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನರ್ತಿಸಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ ಪೂಜಾ ವಿಧಿ ವಿಧಾನಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶನನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
