Bengaluru, Jan. 10: Some students of classes 9 and 11 of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari got the opportunity to participate in an interactive session with Nobel laureate and Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California, San Francisco, Prof. Randy Schekman, organized by Infosys Science Foundation at Taj West End. Students from various schools participated in this session. The students from Banashankari School confidently asked meaningful and thought-provoking questions, demonstrating their interest in science and research.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 10: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯ 9 ಮತ್ತು 11ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಇನ್ಫೋಸಿಸ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಾಜ್ ವೆಸ್ಟ್ ಎಂಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ನೋಬೆಲ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತರೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಅಣು ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಶ ಜೈವಿಕಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರೊ. ರ್ಯಾಂಡಿ ಶೆಕ್ಮನ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಅವರ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
