Bengaluru, Jan. 14: The Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari celebrated the festival of Sankranti. The prayer hall was adorned with sesame, jaggery, sugar aacchu, and sugarcane. Students, dressed in traditional attire, added to the festive atmosphere. They elaborated on the background, significance, and methods of celebrating the Sankranti festival. Students presented a dance performance related to the Sankranti festival. Afterward, sesame and jaggery were distributed.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಎಳ್ಳು, ಬೆಲ್ಲ, ಸಕ್ಕರೆ ಅಚ್ಚು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಬ್ಬುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ವಾತಾವರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆರಗು ನೀಡಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಚರಣೆಯ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಕುರಿತಾದ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಎಳ್ಳುಬೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಲಾಯಿತು.
