Bengaluru, Feb. 26: ‘National Science Day’ was celebrated as part of Sir C.V.Raman’s birth anniversary herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students spoke inspiringly about Sir C.V. Raman’s biography, his scientific achievements and his invaluable contributions to the country. As part of the program, “Science Week” was celebrated in the school from 21/2/2026 to 26/2/2026. During this period, students actively participated in various activities like dance to the science song, science-based drama, presentation on the topic “Science – Then and Now”, exhibition of new inventions etc. Through all these programs, students were made aware of the importance of science, its uses and its relevance in daily life. Various science-based activities were also organized in the classrooms, and the effort to inculcate research spirit and scientific thinking among the students was successful.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 26: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ ಸಿ ವಿ ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರ್ ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ, ಅವರ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 21/2/2026 ರಿಂದ 26/2/2026 ರವರೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ “ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಪ್ತಾಹ”ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಗೀತೆಗೆ ನೃತ್ಯ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಾಧಾರಿತ ನಾಟಕ, “ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ – ಅಂದು ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದು” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ, ಹೊಸ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮುಂತಾದ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವ, ಅದರ ಉಪಯೋಗಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಾಸಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತರಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಾಧಾರಿತ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಯಿತು.
