Bengaluru, Jan. 12: ‘National Youth Day’ was celebrated as part of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
Students spoke about the life, ideals and significant contributions of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda is one of the most famous spiritual leaders of India and played a major role in the revival of Hindu spirituality. He established Hinduism with dignity on the world stage. His passionate sermons have given the youth of the country the goal of self-improvement, self-confidence and national service. For this reason, the students explained that his birthday, January 12, is celebrated as ‘National Youth Day’ in India.
As part of the program, the students melodiously sang a song on Swami Vivekananda. Students of class 9 visited classes one to eight and screened a video featuring the life and messages of Swami Vivekananda. In addition, he created awareness among the students through question-and-answer sessions and explained information about Vivekananda’s ideals in a simple way.
Selected teachers and students of the school visited the surrounding government schools and celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s Jayanti there too. On this occasion, he shared inspiration with the children of those schools about Vivekananda’s life, ideology and messages to the youth.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 12: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜಯಂತಿಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನ’ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ, ಆದರ್ಶಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಭಾರತದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ನಾಯಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹಿಂದೂ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕತೆಯ ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಮಹತ್ತರವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ವಿಶ್ವ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ವಚನಗಳು ದೇಶದ ಯುವಜನತೆಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಸೇವೆಯ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿವೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾದ ಜನವರಿ 12ನ್ನು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನ’ ವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಮಧುರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು. 9ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಎಂಟನೇ ತರಗತಿಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ವಿಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೋತ್ತರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿ, ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಸರಳವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆಯ್ದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಜೀವನ, ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
