RVK – Banashankari Observes Yugadi Celebration and Birth Anniversary of Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar
Bengaluru, Mar. 18: Yugadi festival and Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar’s birth anniversary were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students explained in detail the life of Dr. Ji, his participation in the freedom struggle and the establishment of the Swayamsevak Sangh, and the way he dedicated himself to the work of the organisation. Students celebrated the Yugadi festival and celebrated Yugadi, the new year of Hindus.
Proud Moment for RVK – Banashankari!
Bengaluru, Mar. 10-13: Anisha, a student of Class 7 of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari, participated in the Akhil Bharatiya Shastrotsava organised by the Central Sanskrit University in Kanchipuram from March 10 – 13. In the Bhagavad Gita memorisation category, Anisha achieved a remarkable feat by becoming one of the six participants selected for the prestigious “Vishishta Puraskar (First Class)” out of 24 competitors from across India.
Sankalpa Diwas in RVK – Banashankari
Bengaluru, Mar. 13: A Sankalp Divas program was organised for the students of classes 10 and 12 at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. The Vice Chancellor of Bengaluru University, Prof. Dr Jayakar Shetty M, was the chief guest for the program. The school correspondent, Sri Vasanth Kumar, gave an inspiring introductory speech and impressed upon the students the importance of patriotism and value-based living. The students, who were dressed in traditional attire, took the Sankalp Vachana with lamps in their hands and took the pledge to become responsible citizens.
RVK – Banashankari Hosts Annual Chandana Program
Bengaluru, Mar. 7: A Chandana program was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Sri Madhav Hebbar, who is also the Administrative Officer of Karnataka South Province, was the chief guest for the program. Several indigenous games were played for parents, children and senior citizens in the school grounds.
RVK – Banashankari Celebrated Holi Festival
Bengaluru, Mar. 4: Holi festival was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students dressed in colourful clothes explained the background and importance of the festival.
Mother Language Day Celebration in RVK – Banashankari
Bengaluru, Feb. 21: Mother Language Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. The students spoke about mother language in relation to these three languages, Sanskrit, Kannada and Hindi, and said that language has grown as a medium of communication at a developmental stage in human history. The thoughts, dreams and experiences of every child depend on the mother language.
RVK – Banashankari Observes ‘National Science Day’
Bengaluru, Feb. 26: ‘National Science Day’ was celebrated as part of Sir C.V.Raman’s birth anniversary herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students spoke inspiringly about Sir C.V. Raman’s biography, his scientific achievements and his invaluable contributions to the country. As part of the program, “Science Week” was celebrated in the school from 21/2/2026 to 26/2/2026.
Kreedotsava 2025–26 in RVK – Banashanakari
Bengaluru, Feb. 13: Kreedotsava for classes 1 and 2 was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Ku. Jagruti was the chief guest for the event.There was a grand procession, flag hoisting and lighting of the sports lamp. Students presented prayers, processions, performances and dance performances.
Mahashivratri and Sarojini Naidu Jayanti Celebrated with Devotion at RVK – Banashankari
Bengaluru, Feb. 13: Sarojini Naidu’s Jayanti and Mahashivratri festival were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Sanskrit teachers performed puja to Bilvapriya Shiva. Music teachers and students of the choir sang bhajans.
Yellow Day Celebration in RVK – Banashankari
Bengaluru, Feb. 11: Yellow Day was celebrated for the children of Gokulam herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
The teachers decorated the school using various yellow items. Various yellow items were displayed to the children through PPT. UKG children performed a dance to the Yellow Day song. LKG children performed a yellow song through a performance.
