He had an uncanny ability to \u201cremember the characteristics of numbers in an incredible way,\u201d the students said. In 2012, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had declared December 22, the birthday of Srinivasa Ramanujan, as National Mathematics Day. The Math Week was celebrated on the date as part of Srinivasa Ramanujan\u2019s birth anniversary. Various activities related to mathematics were organized every day. Dance, information, drama, mathematics in everyday life, simplification of mathematics, quizzes on Ramanujan were all organized as part of the Math Week. Similarly, certificates were given to students for various competitions conducted in the classroom and finally the program was concluded with a report reading and an attempt to instill an interest in
