Bengaluru, Feb. 7: A ‘Sports Festival’ was organized for classes 3 to 5 herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. The guests of the program, Dr. Manya Kumar, an alumnus of the school, currently interning at Rajarajeshwari Dental College and Hospital, and a player of Team India in the Asian Throwball Championship 2018, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The Ghosh team took the dignitaries to the stadium. Then a grand procession was held. And the chief guest hoisted the flag. The sports torch was lit by the top achievers in sports, along with the chief guests. The pledge of the sports meet was administered by the Principal, Smt. Purnima, Four channels and Ghosh’s procession took place. An aerobic display was performed by the children of class 3. The chief guest addressed the program and shared her memories of her school life. She also advised the children to make the most of the opportunities that come their way. The Guests and the Principal inaugurated various sports by throwing the throw ball. In the championship results, Abhaya Vahini emerged as the overall champion, while Achala Vahini secured the runner-up position. The chief guest presented the awards to the winners.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆ. 7: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 3 ರಿಂದ 5 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ‘ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವ’ವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ಡೆಂಟಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಸ್ಪಿಟಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಟರ್ಶಿಪ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ, ಏಷ್ಯನ್ ಥ್ರೋಬಾಲ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ 2018 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಟೀಮ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಆಟಗಾರ್ತಿ, ಉತ್ತಮ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟು ಡಾ. ಮಾನ್ಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರು ದೀಪ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಘೋಷ್ ತಂಡವು ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಿತು. ನಂತರ ಭವ್ಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಸಾಧಕರು, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದರು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಧಾನಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಅವರು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ವಾಹಿನಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಘೋಷ್ ನ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನವು ನಡೆಯಿತು. 3 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಏರೋಬಿಕ್ ಡಿಸ್ಪ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ, ತಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲಾ ಜೀವನದ ನೆನಪನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಬಂದಾಗ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕಿವಿ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಥ್ರೋ ಬಾಲ್ ಎಸೆಯುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಭಯ ವಾಹಿನಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿತು, ಅಚಲಾ ವಾಹಿನಿ ರನ್ನರ್-ಅಪ್ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
