Bengaluru, Mar 8: A Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana program was organized for the mothers of Matrubharati herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
Bengaluru, Feb 13: Two NCC cadets, Sergeant Pratyusha and Corporal Aditi R Mudre of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari, had the opportunity to participate in the RD (Republic Day) Parade 2025 held in Delhi, representing the Karnataka and Goa Division.
They had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi and the Defence Minister Sri Rajnath Singh. They were felicitated by the Governor of Karnataka Sri Thawar Chand Gehlot. They were given the honour of participating in the appreciation ceremony organized by the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Sri Arun Kumar, Deputy Director General, NCC, felicitated both of them at the award ceremony held at Christ University, Bengaluru.
On this occasion, RVK – BSK was awarded the prestigious ‘Best Institution’ award, which is a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our NCC cadets and ANO Soumya. RVK BSK has been awarded the Best Institution Award based on the social service conducted in the institution, camps attended by NCC cadets, number of cadets appearing for the examination and their results, adventure activities organized by ANO for NCC cadets, etc. This award is a motivation to continue our achievements.

Bengaluru, Feb. 15: A Chandana event was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Sri Sridhara Swami, who served as a retired professor in the Physics department at the National College in Bengaluru and has held various responsibilities within the organization, is currently functioning as the intellectual leader of the South-Central region of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Bengaluru, Feb 13: Sarojini Naidu’s birth anniversary was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
The children spoke about the life of Sarojini Naidu, who was famous as the ‘Cuckoo of India’. She was a freedom fighter and poet from a young age. The students said that she was the first woman governor of Uttar Pradesh.
Bengaluru, Feb. 22: Sports festival program for classes 1 and 2 was organized at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
The guests of the program were Smt. Uma S. Patil, Principal of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Hassan.
Bengaluru, Feb. 21: Mother tongue Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra- Banashankari.
Children spoke about mother tongue in relation to three languages, Sanskrit, Kannada and Hindi.
As part of the program, students conducted programs such as storytelling, poetry recitation and interactive discussions by students in their mother tongue.
Students discussed the importance of multilingualism and how learning languages, including English, fosters communication and global understanding.
Teachers emphasized the need to respect and preserve linguistic diversity.
