Bengaluru, Mar. 24: The “Martyrs’ Day” of the great revolutionaries Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Raj Guru was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.

Bengaluru, Apr. 15: We are extremely proud to share that our student, Pranav Nadig of Class 7F has been selected in the final round of the 2nd Asian Yogasana Competition. This prestigious event is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India.

Bengaluru, Apr. 14: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
Sri Umesh, Head of the Social Science Department, spoke about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and said that Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on 14th April, 1891 in a military camp called Maho in Madhya Pradesh. He was one of the great Indian leaders who fought for social equality and the abolition of untouchability. He introduced Ambedkar’s life and achievements by saying that he worked almost single-handedly to prepare the draft of the Constitution, put the manuscript of the Constitution on a silver platter and presented it to the entire nation.

Bengaluru, Apr. 7: Sri Ram Navami festival was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
In the presence of the school correspondent Sri Vasanth Kumar and the principal Poornima, the worship of Rama began with a bhajan. After the worship, the students explained the method of celebrating the festival of Ram Navami and the importance of the celebration. In Hindu tradition, Sri Rama, the hero of the Ramayana and the king of Ayodhya, is worshipped as an incarnation of Vishnu. Sri Ram Navami is celebrated on the Shukla Paksha of the Chaitra month, eight days after Yugadi.

Bengaluru, Mar. 31: The inaugural program of the summer camp was organized herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
After the inauguration ceremony, the Principal wished the students a good experience. He informed that the camp will be held from March 31 to April 14, 2025 and gave comprehensive information about the camp.
Around 80 interested students participated in the camp, which included various activities like swimming, yoga, basketball, table tennis, badminton, athletics, football, kho-kho, volleyball, art and craft, music, dance, tabla, drama, culture and indigenous sports. After the inauguration program, the students went to the places of various activities. The students enthusiastically participated in the activities of their choice and made the first day of the camp a success.

Bengaluru, Mar. 29: Yugadi and Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Jayanti were celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. The students explained in detail the life of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, his participation in the freedom struggle and the establishment of the Swayamsevak Sangh, the way he dedicated himself in the work of the organization.
