Bengaluru, Dec. 19: Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan’s Birth Anniversary was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
On the significance of the day, Ramanujan’s contribution to the field of mathematics was discussed. Talking about the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan students said that he is famous as the greatest Indian mathematician in the world. The students also said that in 2012, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had declared Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birthday, December 22, as National Mathematics Day.
Bengaluru, Nov. 30: Jagadish Chandra Bose Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Students spoke about the life of Jagadish Chandra Bose, a multi-talented Bengali-born physicist and biologist. They said that his achievement was that he proved to the world that like animals, plants also respond to external influences.
Bengluru, Dec. 1: Students of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari participated in various competitions organized by Swarnavalli Mahasamsthan at M. L. A. School, Bengaluru for the Bhagavad Gita Abhiyan and won prizes.
