Bengaluru, June 5: World Environment Day was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
Principal Smt. Nanda and Vice Principal Smt. Sandhya inaugurated the program by planting and watering trees.
“World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5. It was first celebrated in 1973 under the principle of One Earth. There is no other planet that can replace Earth. Therefore, protecting the environment should be our first priority. Earth is not yours, not mine, it is ours,” said selected children, explaining the importance of Environment Day.

Bangaluru, May 31: The 26th Mathrubharati Samiti was inaugurated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
Addressing the program, which started with a wreath laying ceremony, the school Principal, Smt. Nanda, said that it is a commendable factor that mothers are involved in many activities. She also informed the mothers about the five transformations organized on this occasion of Rashtrotthana celebrating its 60th year.

Bengaluru, May 28: Veer Savarkar Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
The students said that Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar, dedicated his entire life for the freedom of India. His life is a good guide for all of us.

Bengaluru, May. 25: Aksharabhyasa was organized for Pre-KG and LKG children (newly enrolled in the school) and a Vidyarambha program for newly enrolled children from UKG to Class 12 herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
