Bengaluru, Apr. 14: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.Sri Umesh, Head of the Social Science Department, spoke about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and said that Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was born on 14th April, 1891 in a military camp called Maho in Madhya Pradesh. He was one of the great Indian leaders who fought for social equality and the abolition of untouchability. He introduced Ambedkar’s life and achievements by saying that he worked almost single-handedly to prepare the draft of the Constitution, put the manuscript of the Constitution on a silver platter and presented it to the entire nation.The school music teacher sang a melodious song about Ambedkar. Finally, Sandhya Mataji, the Vice Principal, wished all the teachers a happy holiday.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಭೀಮರಾವ್ ರಾಮ್‌ಜೀ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರು 14ನೇ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್, 1891 ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮಾಹೋ ಎಂಬ ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಾನತೆ, ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತಾ ನಿವಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಾಯಕರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬರು. ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಕರಡನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು, ಬಹುತೇಕ ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ದುಡಿದು, ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಹಸ್ತಪ್ರತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿತಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ಇಡೀ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಎಂದು ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ – ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಸುಮಧುರವಾದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ ಮಾತಾಜಿಯವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ರಜಾ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದಾಯಕವಾಗಿ ಕಳೆಯುವಂತೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
