Bengaluru, July 19: Patriot Mangalapande Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.The program was started by garlanding Mangalapande’s portrait. The children narrated in their speech and drama the biography of Mangalapande, who bravely rebelled and gave up his life in the fight against British oppression of the Indian people.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜುಲೈ 19: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಭಕ್ತ ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆಯ ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ, ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರು ಭಾರತದ ಜನತೆಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಿರುಕುಳದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಮಂಗಲಪಾಂಡೆ ಸಿಡಿದೆದ್ದು ಚಳುವಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಪ್ರಾಣತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಟಕದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
