Bengaluru, July 26-27: The second phase of a two-day teacher refreshing workshop was organized for the Teachers of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari and Somanahalli herein RVK – Banashankari.
First Day: The first session was on the life and legacy of Ahalya Bai Holkar by Dr. G B Harish.The next session was a theme-based session on the topic ‘Integrating Panchamukhi Shikshan in Education’ by Head of Department, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.The next session was on effective communication in classrooms, developing literacy skills, and the importance of music and movement in development.The last session of the day was on Technology Integration -AI and AR by Sri Tarun Praveen Purohit. All sessions were informative.
Second Day: The first session on Day 2 was conducted by Sri Vinayak Bhat on Adhyayana and Swadhyaya. Then other sessions were conducted on designing tools for effective assessment, developing picture reading skills, encouraging mathematical thinking skills, establishing emotional bonds with children, inclusive education, organizing structured play, integrating science with other subjects, stress management.The next session was on Action Research by Dr. Bhaskar.In the concluding session, Sri Vasantakumar, the correspondent, conducted on “Swastha-Susthira Samajanirman”.The program concluded with a review and feedback session at the closing ceremony.
