June 5: Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari celebrated the World Environment Day with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the esteemed Principal, Smt. Purnima, planting a sapling to mark the significance of the day.
The children spoke about the importance of the environment with the idea that the slogan of World Environmental Conservation Day 2024 is being celebrated with the phrase “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience”.
Songs related to environment were sung. Quizzes related to Environment Day were asked. A pledge was taken to save nature. Slogans about nature were shouted.
