Bengaluru, June 27: The 515th Birth Anniversary of the Founder of Bengaluru, Kempegowda was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. It provided an opportunity for the students to learn about the history of our garden city Bengaluru.Principal, Smt. Poornima honored Kempegowda by presenting floral tributes to his portrait.
The educator shared the story of Bengaluru with the students, highlighting Kempegowda’s significant accomplishments. On this occasion, an essay competition for students on the theme of ‘Kempegowda’s Life Achievement’ and drawing competition on the theme of ‘Kempegowda’s Vision of Bangalore City’ made the program more meaningful.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂನ್ 27: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಿರ್ಮಾತೃ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ 515ನೇ ಜಯಂತಿಯು ನಮ್ಮ ನಗರದ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು. ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾ ಅವರು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾಂಜಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮನ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಜೀವನ ಸಾಧನೆ’ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ’ ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನಾಧರಿಸಿ ಚಿತ್ರಕಲಾ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದವು.
