Bengaluru, Apr. 14: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s Jayanti was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. Sri Abhilash, a teacher of the Social Science Department, spoke about the life and achievements of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and said that Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was one of the great Indian leaders who fought for social equality and the abolition of untouchability. Then the school music teacher sang a melodious song about Ambedkar.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏ. 14: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾಜ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್ ಅವರು ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಆರ್. ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ – ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಭೀಮರಾವ್ ರಾಮ್ಜೀ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ರವರು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಾನತೆ, ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತಾ ನಿವಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ ಮಹಾನ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ನಾಯಕರಲ್ಲೊಬ್ಬರು ಎಂದರು. ನಂತರ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಸುಮಧುರವಾದ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಡಿದರು.
