Bengaluru, Sept. 25 – Oct. 1: ‘Swadeshi Saptaha’ (Swadeshi Week) was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari.
- Activities included introducing the concept and significance of Swadeshi Saptaha during school prayer assemblies, showcasing Indian folk-art forms; exploring the structure of Indian numerals and the relationship between the Hindu calendar and mathematics; presenting Kannada language and culture; discussing the science behind traditional Indian practices and temples; and organising a ‘Swadeshi Bazaar’ to introduce local products, artisans, and the Indian economy.

- ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಸಪ್ತಾಹದ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ವ – ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜಾನಪದ ಕಲಾ ಪ್ರಕಾರಗಳು – ಭಾರತೀಯ ಗಣಿತ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳ ರಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೂ ಕ್ಯಾಲೆಂಡರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣಿತದ ನಡುವಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ನಾಡು ನುಡಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ, ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು, ಸ್ವದೇಶಿ ಬಜಾರ್ – ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳು ಕುಶಲಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯ ಪರಿಚಯ ಹೀಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
