Bengaluru, Aug. 8: Vidya Bharati Karnataka Bangalore District Mathematics, Science Fair and Culture Festival was organised at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Banashankari. More than 15 schools participated in the program. Retired senior scientist and engineer of ISRO, Sri Vasanth Madhav S., was present as the Chief Guest in the program.
- School correspondent Sri Vasanth Kumar gave an introduction to the Rashtrotthana Institute and its functions.
- Sri Narasappa informed that the children participating in the Vidya Bharati Mathematics, Science Fair and Culture Festival competition will be the winners of the competition and then go to the All-India level and explained the outline of the subsequent program.
- Sri Vasanth Madhav shared his experience at ISRO. He said that ISRO aims to establish its own space station in India. She encouraged the children by telling them about the hard work involved in launching an ISRO rocket, the functioning of ISRO, and science.
- Then, in her presidential address, Smt. Parvati said that you all should become scientists. We are celebrating the Math and Science Fair as a prelude to becoming scientists. She told them about the National Space Day celebrated on August 23. There is a need for scientists who can achieve this. You are also little scientists. She said that each one should be seen in a scientific context.
- Several competitions were organized on the subject of Math and Science – quizzes, models, experiments, paper presentations. According to the age group, there were children, children, teenagers, and young people. The judges recognized the talents of the students who participated in various competitions and announced the winners.
- At the closing ceremony, prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions.
- The first prize winners of RVK-Banashankari’s children, youth and youth categories were selected for the next stage of the provincial level.

- 15 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರೋದ ನಿವೃತ್ತ ಹಿರಿಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ ಮಾಧವ ಎಸ್. ರವರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
- ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪರಿಚಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ
- ಶ್ರೀ ನರಸಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾಭಾರತೀಯ ಗಣಿತ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾಗಿ ನಂತರ ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ನಂತರದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ರೂಪುರೇಷವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
- ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಸಂತ ಮಾಧವ ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರೋದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇಸ್ರೋ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಂತ ಬಾಹ್ಯಾಕಾಶ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಇಸ್ರೋ ರಾಕೆಟ್ ಲಾಂಚ್ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಪಡುವ ಶ್ರಮ, ಇಸ್ರೋದ ಕಾರ್ಯಚರಣೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
- ನಂತರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪಾರ್ವತಿಯವರು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾಗಬೇಕು ನೀವು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಲು ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿಯಾಗಿ ಗಣಿತ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು. ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 23 ರಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುವ National Space day ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ. ನೀವು ಸಹ ಪುಟ್ಟ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
- ಗಣಿತ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, ಮಾಡೆಲ್, ಎಕ್ಸಪೆರಿಮೆಂಟ್, ಪೇಪರ್ ಪ್ರೆಸೆಂಟೇಶನ್ – ಹಲವಾರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಿಶುವರ್ಗ, ಬಾಲವರ್ಗ ಕಿಶೋರ ವರ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ತರುಣ ವರ್ಗ ಎಂದು ವಯೋಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ತೀರ್ಪುಗಾರರು ವಿಜೇತರನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು.
- ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
- ರಾವಿಕೆ- ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಪಡೆದ ಬಾಲ, ಕಿಶೋರ ಮತ್ತು ತರುಣ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಮುಂದಿನ ಹಂತದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದರು.
